Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 57.24 points (+0.48%) when the bourse closed trading at 12,049.85 points Thursday.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 646.93 Billion from QR 644.44 Billion registered Wednesday.
The traded value dropped to QR 330.73 Million with a volume of 8,724,655 shares from 4,737 transactions compared to QR 414.18 Million with a volume of 10,267,251 shares from 5,307 transactions on Wednesday.
Indices of fall seven sectors advanced today.
Real estate index gained most, up +0.79% to 2,596.96 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained +0.48% (18,726.1 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +0.40% (4,561.29 points). QSE All Share Index gained +0.39% (3,219.5 points).
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 38 saw trading today. From these, 23 advanced, 12 declined and three remained unchanged.
