
Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 126.42 points (+1.04%) when the bourse closed trading Wednesday at 12,334.06 points.
The market capitalization increased to QR 663.82 Billion from QR 657.52 Billion registered Tuesday.
The Qatari bourse's upward swing can be gauged from the QR 10.77 Billion increase in the market capitalization over two days. It was QR 653.05 Billion on Monday.
The traded value today increased to QR 1.228 Billion with a volume of 16,202,501 shares from 7,195 transactions compared to QR 374.93 Million with a volume of 9,085,942 shares from 5,643 transactions on Tuesday.
Indices of all sectors ended in green zone today.
Insurance index gained the most, up +4.22% to 4,369.81 points. Real estate gained +1.74% (2,651.96 points), industries gained +1.28% (4,122.29 points), telecom gained +0.58% (1,319.78 points), banks and financial services gained +0.40% (3,271.34 points), consumer goods and services gained +0.16% (7,519.34 points) and transport gained +0.12% (2,504.98 points).
The QSE Total Return Index rose +1.04% (19,167.78 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index rose +1.47% (4,725.89 points) and QSE All Share Index rose +0.99% (3,297.69 points).
From the 43 QSE-listed companies 29 advanced, 11 declined and three remained unchanged today.
