
Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index continued its green run for the third consecutive day, gaining 124.57 points (+1.08%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,711.40 points Tuesday with indices of all sectors in the green zone.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 633.45 Billion from QR 627.22 Billion registered Monday.
The traded value today increased to QR 564.85 Million with a volume of 10,325,394 shares from 5,927 transactions today compared to QR 394.71 Million with a volume of 7,741,352 shares from 5,604 transactions registered Monday.
Industries continued its green run, advancing the most, up +1.97% to 3,884.03 points as shares of four companies gained, led by Industries Qatar up +2.96% (QR 4) to QR 139 at close.
Consumer goods and services index was up +0.94% or 64.25 points to 6,908.83 points.
Transport index too made fair gains today, up +1.01% (2,408.77 points) with Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) leading the gainers, up +1.31% to QR 22.40.
Insurance +0.90% (4,184.34 points), banks and financial services +0.53% (3,170.4 points), real estate gained +0.52% (2,395.73 points) and telecoms gained slightly +0.06% (1,326.21 points).
QSE's Total Return index was up +1.08% (18,198.59 points), QSE Al Rayan Islamic index up +0.65% (4,276.43 points) and QSE All Share index +0.92% (3,133.6 points) today.
From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 24 gained and 15 went down and one remained unchanged.
