S. Korea stocks to face volatile trading next week

South Korean shares will likely undergo volatility next week amid deepening concerns that the global economy could slip back into a recession, analysts said Saturday. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) closed at 1,697.44 on Friday, down 151.66 points, or 8.2 percent from a week earlier. On Thursday and Friday, the index plunged by more than 150 points.
