Saudi Stock Exchange index falls 17% in 2015

Saudi Stock Exchange ''Tadawul'' All Share Index (TASI) closed at the end of the year 2015 at a level of 6,911.76 points compared to 8,333.30 points for the previous year, lost 1,421.54 points (17.06%); the highest close level for the index (TASI) during the year was 9,834.49 points as on 30th of April.
The total Market Capitalization at the end of the year 2015 reached SAR 1,579.06 billion (US$ 421.10 billion), decreased by (12.90%) as compared to the end of the previous year.
The total Value of Shares Traded for the year 2015 reached SAR 1,660.62 billion (US$ 442.83 billion) compared to SAR 2,146.51 billion (US$ 572.40 billion) for the previous year, decreased by (22.64%).
