The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed lower at 6,965.66 points yesterday, down 0.43 percent or 29.74 points from its previous level. The TASI traded within a range of 41 points yesterday. All market cap indices closed the day in the negative zone. Saudi sectors indices performed negatively, with twelve sectors trimming an aggregate of 340 points for the entire day. Multi-Investment sector remained the biggest loser of the day, down by 0.95 percent or 29.53 points to close at 3,084.48. In turn, Real Estate, Transport and Agriculture sectors have been unharmed by the day\'s trading. These sectors showed an increment of 42 points jointly. The market breadth was negative with 105 stocks witnessing declines against 28 stocks witnessing advances. Top ten heavy weights closed in red, with Saudi Arabian Fertilizers Co. (SAFCO) dipping by 1.33 percent, Saudi Telecom Co. 1.28 percent and SABB 1.19 percent, and the Kingdom Holding and Saudi Electricity Company ending without any change. AMANA Insurance shares jumped 9.97 percent to close the day at SR 124, occupying the top position among Saudi stocks. Saudi Integrated Telecommunication-ALMUTAKAMELA followed it, advancing over seven percent for the day. The company also topped the value chart on the Saudi stock market with a turnover of SR 802.6 million. Allied Insurance Group and Alalamiya Insurance, on the other hand, posted the largest losses, down 8.1 percent and 6.03 percent respectively. Tadawul volume with trades over 254.3 million shares remained 39.2 percent greater than previous level but still it was 13.6 percent lower than 50-day average. From arabnews
