US stocks closed slightly higher Friday, but ended the week down more than 2 percent. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 4.07, or 0.03 percent, to 12,815.39. The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 index gained 2.34, or 0.17 percent, to 1,379.85. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index moved up 9.29, or 0.32 percent, to 2,904.87. --SPA
