Ashlee Simpson expecting a girl with Evan Ross

Ashlee Simpson is having a girl.
Two months after news broke that Simpson and her husband Evan Ross were expecting their first child together, the singer's rep confirmed to Us Weekly the baby will be a girl.
Soon after learning she was pregnant Simpson told the magazine she wanted to know the sex so she could start working on the nursery.
"I'm just excited for the new addition," she said at the time.
The new baby will be the first for the couple and the second for Simpson who already has Bronx, 7, from her marriage to Pete Wentz. According to Simpson, her older son is "really excited" about having a sister.
"I told him pretty early on," Simpson said. "He's got a little brother [on his father's side]. Now he's going to have a little sister!"
Simpson and Ross married in August.
