Glasser, who died Thursday, was 89, the Hollywood Reporter said. He was a substitute teacher at Beverly Hills High School in 1951 when he borrowed money from his landlord, invested in a studio lot in Hollywood and produced "Gold Raiders," a Western starring the Three Stooges. He was a graduate of Indiana State University and is survived by four children and eight grandchildren, the Reporter said.
