Beyonce paid homage to singer Janet Jackson circa 1989 at a Power 1051.1 Powerhouse event in New York City on Thursday.
The singer's getup -- a black cap and jacket with metal details and key hoop earrings -- evoked the outfit Jackson wore in the official video for her 1989 track "Rhythm Nation."
While Beyonce didn't post any photos from the event, a fan who posed with her at the party shared a photo with the singer on Instagram.
But Beyonce wasn't the only celebrity that Instagram user babyjakeali_ met during Thursday's affair. The youngster also posted pictures with Jay Z -- who rolled up the mask he was wearing for the photo -- Chinx Drugz, DJ Clue, Chris Brown, Remy mA, Trey Songs and French Montana.
