Danity Kane has broken up again.
The girl group reunited in August 2013, but has reportedly disbanded once more following a fight between Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day.
TMZ reports the group were in the studio Monday when Richard and O'Day got into a disagreement. Richard reportedly punched O'Day in the head, and O'Day subsequently filed a battery report. Police are investigating the incident.
"Sadness does not even remotely begin to describe what I feel right now," O'Day said in a statement. Third member Shannon Bex, who unsuccessfully tried to break up the fight, said separately, "I now must walk away feeling used and manipulated."
Danity Kane came to fame as a Diddy-produced group on MTV's Making the Band in 2005. The original lineup consisted of Richard, O'Day, Bex, Aundrea Fimbres and Wanita Woodgett. Diddy removed O'Day and Woodgett from the group on the Making the Band 4 finale in 2008, and the remaining members disbanded in 2009. Richard, O'Day, Bex and Fimbres announced their reunion at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, but Fimbres dropped out soon after.
Richard, O'Day and Bex had a new studio album in the works, but it is unclear if it will be released.
