Hollywood actress Stacey Dash drew some harsh criticism after tweeting her support for Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. \"Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future,\" Dash said in a message Sunday alongside a photo of her smiling and standing in front of an American flag. Dash said she voted for President Barack Obama in 2008, but added: \"I don\'t vote because of race or skin color. ... at that time he was the best candidate, It\'s different this time.\" CNN said some of the responses her posting received included: \"B**** we know the only reason you tweeted that Romney s**t was so you can taste what it feels like to be relevant,\" and, \"just like that @REALStaceyDash is excommunicated from the Black Community ... stupidity at its finest.\" The Washington Post quoted another detractor as tweeting: \"RACIAL DRAFT: I LIKE TO REQUEST A TRADE TO SEND STACEY DASH TO THE CAUCASIANS TO ACQUIRE BILL CLINTON TO THE BLACKS,\" and still another critic as saying Dash \"thinks Mitt Romney won\'t cut off them unemployment checks she\'s receiving. Wrong again ma\'am.\" Dash responded to the negative comments by tweeting: \"My humble opinion... EVERYONE is entitled to one.\" Among the many people who defended Dash\'s right to express her views were iReporter Elizabeth Lauten, The Root DC columnist Crystal Wright and women\'s rights activist Sandra Fluke. \"So disappointed to see people attacking @REALStaceyDash for voicing her opinion. Disagree politically, but #racist attacks are unacceptable,\" Fluke tweeted Monday. Dash, 46, is best known for her work in the film and TV show \"Clueless.\" Her other movie credits include \"Moving,\" \"Mo\' Money,\" \"Renaissance Man,\" \"View from the Top\" and \"I Could Never Be Your Woman.\"
