According to Syrian star Duraid Lahham, for a TV drama to be impressive, it must have convincing characters that reflect familiar personalities, reports Sayidaty.net. When it came to reviewing Adel Imam’s “Al Araf”, Duraid dished out a discontented opinion. Egyptian actor Adel Imam didn’t quite make the mark with the Ramadan drama, per his colleague’s perspective, as he did not feel it was realistic. Duraid’s own recent Ramadan drama \"Sanaoud Baed Qalil\" (We Will Return Shortly), however, included characters taken from actual society, giving viewers something relatable to reality. It was obviously a more convincing drama based on that criterion, albeit a little biased, we think.
