Eliza Dushku, Rick Fox break up after 5 years of dating

Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox have split after five years of dating.
The 33-year-old Dollhouse actress and 44-year-old former NBA star confirmed the breakup in separate interviews this week. While speaking to the Boston Globe on Sunday, Dushku also revealed she has left Los Angeles and purchased a condo -- with a basement -- near her hometown of Watertown, Mass.
"Rick's an LA guy and I'm a Boston girl," she tells the publication. "Nobody in LA has a basement. They all have the obligatory storage spaces in the Valley."
The actress lived in LA for 22 years, and does not intend to abandon her entertainment career. For her, the move was about being close to family, and she plans to eventually go back to school.
"I'd rather be a little physically cold here than emotionally cold in LA," she shares. "I missed my town and I missed my family."
