Geri Halliwell, Christian Horner engaged

Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner are engaged.
The 42-year-old singer and 40-year-old Red Bull F1 team principal announced the news in The London Times on Tuesday. Halliwell and Horner took out an ad in the publication's "Births, Marriages & Deaths" section similar to the one actor Benedict Cumberbatch used to reveal his engagement to Sophie Turner last week.

Halliwell and Horner have been friends for years, and went public with their relationship in March. The singer has an eight-year-old daughter from her relationship with Sacha Gervasi, while Horner has a one-year-old daughter with ex-longtime partner Beverley Allen.
Halliwell is best known as a member of former British girl group the Spice Girls. The singer was nicknamed "Ginger Spice" during her time with the group, and later pursued a solo career. She released her third solo album, Passion, in 2005, and served as a judge on Australia's Got Talent in 2013.
