Hulkamania was rumbling through the world of wrestling Sunday after Hulk Hogan announced he was returning as an on-air host. Hogan and Word Wrestling Entertainment said this week that Hogan had joined the WWE team as a host for events including the venerable WrestleMania all-star bouts. "Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family," Hogan said in a written statement. "I only have one question for the WWE Universe: Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild as the host of WrestleMania 30?" Hogan will make his first appearance with the WWE in seven years on Monday on USA's "Raw." He will also be a fixture on the newly launched WWE Network, Entertainment Weekly said. Hogan thus far will be confined to ringside with not current plans to hop back into the ring and revive the accolades he received in the 1980s when he helped power pro wrestling to new heights in the United States. Few grappling fans will forget his 1984 match at Madison Square Garden when he bested the infamous Iron Sheik to win the first of his six WWE titles.
