Joe Jonas, girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler break up

Joe Jonas and Blanda Eggenschwiler have split.

The 24-year-old singer and 29-year-old graphic designer were together for 20 months. The pair met through mutual friends, and started dating shortly after Jonas broke up with actress Ashley Greene.
"Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways," Jonas' rep tells Us Weekly. "The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another."
"It was mutual," a source confirms to E! News. "They both wanted to do new things. Joe wants to be single right now and they thought it was better if they are just friends."
Jonas came to fame with brothers Kevin and Nick as the pop group The Jonas Brothers, but the band broke up in October 2013. The singer revealed at Lollapalooza over the weekend that he is developing a cooking show with friends, and said he would continue "focusing on music, acting and writing."
