And although the family had hoped that viewers of Kourtney & Kim Take New York would side with Kim once they watched her ‘struggle\' with married life, the show has had the opposite effect after Kim and her mum, Kris Jenner, were accused of having re-shot some Dubai scenes in order to make Kim look more sympathetic - with one source sniping, \"Unfortunately for Kris Humphries, he didn\'t get a chance to go back and film phony scenes to help his image.\" And the reality TV star\'s stepfather, Bruce, has admitted Kim\'s struggling, last week spilling, \"It\'s tough for a woman at 30 - not married, no kids. Kim\'s an idealist.\" With the lifestyle mogul herself admitting that she struggles to live in the ‘real world\', declaring, \"I think I need to not live in a fairytale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.\" But it seems like Kim\'s lip service to quit living such a fake existence is just that, after Hollywood-watchers blasted the star for a recent Teen Vogue interview about her stepsisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, in which the writer notes, \"Older sister Kim, wearing sweatpants and no make-up, heads out the front door for a walk with the family\'s pastor.\" \"Teen Vogue turned up to interview her stepsisters and Kim just happened to be going out for a walk with her pastor at exactly the same time the reporter arrived? Are you kidding me?\" blasted one industry insider. \"How planned can you get? It\'s almost a new low.\" Kim\'s mum and manager Kris has tried to manage the fall-out from her failed 72-day marriage by alluding to everything being basketball player, Kris Humphries\' fault, telling Fox And Friends, \"This was a very difficult decision for Kim… obviously something horrendous happened or that\'s the way she is feeling, so this is not something she enjoys doing\" - but she refused to elaborate on what the \"horrendous\" thing actually was.
