Mario Kart 8 trailer shows new features, old rainbow road

Nintendo released the trailer for Mario Kart 8 and it shows some new features and a glimpse of the old rainbow road. There is an anti-gravity mechanic which allows cars to fly on jumps and spin turbo for hitting other racers. There are also new items to throw at other racers, like a boomerang and a potted plant. The old rainbow road is still there with a slightly updated look, ready to frustrate players into a rage when they keep going over the side. The game will be released on May 30.
