Hollywood actress Melanie Griffith is to receive the CineMerit Award at the 30th Munich film festival next month, organizers said. The 54-year-old star of \"Lolita,\" \"Celebrity,\" \"Something Wild\" and \"Pacific Heights\" -- who won a supporting actress Oscar for \"Working Girl\" -- is to pick up the lifetime achievement award at a July 3 ceremony. \"Melanie Griffith embodies Hollywood more than any other actress of her generation,\" festival director Diane Iljine said in a statement Tuesday. \"She is an international star with a glamorous as well as eventful career.\" The world premiere of her latest film, \"The Grief Tourist,\" is to take place at the festival.
