Pop star Miley Cyrus took to Instagram Sunday to showcase the new ink she got on her rib cage in loving memory of her late dog, Floyd.
The tattoo features a puppy version of the Alaskan Klee Kai and reads: "With a little help from my fwends."
CBS news reported that the "Wrecking Ball" singer got the tattoo at a house party in Los Angeles over the weekend and was joined by a couple friends including Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne.
"Yep!!! Family Floyd Tat!!! I Get By With A Little Help From My Fwends!!!" Coyne wrote on Instagram along with a photo of himself, Cyrus and a female friend showing their matching tats.
Cyrus tweeted that she was going through the "third worst day of her life," when Floyd died in early April.
The singer reminisced about her dog's passing during Sunday's NBC documentary about her Bangerz tour.
"I think if I really [accept that he's dead], he might actually go at some point, which I don't really want," she said. "I have to not make myself sick over it because that's what I did at first. I loved him so much. I really shut down more than I've ever let myself. You can try to move on, your shell can continue [to go] on stage every night, but internally I wasn't [there]."
