Keanu Reeves is usually portrayed as calm and collected, but when faced with the obvious blunder of being mistaken for actor Mark Wahlberg in a Funny or Die clip, the actor goes completely unhinged.
In a video uploaded earlier this month, Reeves appears under interrogation by two incompetent cops who are convinced he is a publicly promiscuous Wahlberg.
"We got ourselves a real life movie star in a scum-sucking real life Boston mafiosa," the leading cop says to begin.
"Mmhm, I love Boston mimosas," his partner responds.
After a few hilarious, accusatory remarks claiming Reeves (or, Wahlberg) actually committed sexually explicit acts in public, Reeves questions whether the crimes even happened. "You guys really believe I'm Mark Wahlberg, and that Mark Wahlberg has been running all over town having sex -- I don't think Mark would do that."
The two are actually obsessed with Reeves' movies, which make the running joke that much more cringeworthy. They even threaten to get John Wick (yes, from the film) to torture their prisoner, unaware that he is, of course, fictional.
"You know John Wick isn't real," Reeves responds. "I played that guy...in a movie...you know?" he said.
But explicit threats keep coming as the cops continue to deny Reeve's assertions of his true identity. It wasn't until the cuffed actor finally yells "I am Keanu Reeves!" when the fake FBI agents finally realize, "Oh [expletive], I think that's Keanu Reeves!"
