Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger has sold her East Hampton beach mansion for $250,000 over its $4.45 million asking price.
The New York Post cited unnamed sources as saying a bidding war erupted after potential buyers discovered the Cold Mountain, Chicago, Bridget Jones's Diary and Jerry Maguire star was the seller.
The closing on the property was Friday.
The 45-year-old actress was last seen on the big screen in 2010's My Own Love Song. She recently made headlines, however, when she debuted a new look, prompting some to say she was nearly unrecognizable and sparking speculation about what cosmetic surgery she may have undergone.
