British singer Cheryl Cole has secretly married her French boyfriend after a whirlwind three-months courtship.
The X-Factor judge, 31, and restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, 33, had a beach wedding on the luxury island of Mustique last week watched by just four guests, The Sun newspaper reported.
"She's never been so happy. She's delighted he's her new husband and wants to have his babies," a source was quoted as telling the newspaper.
Cole posted a photo on Instagram of a giant stone on her ring finger.
A statement on the singer's website said: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news... Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14.
"We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."
The former Girls Aloud star married Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole in 2006 but they have divorced after splitting up in 2010.
Cole, who will continue as an X-Factor judge in the forthcoming new British series of the talent show, told fewer than ten people of her wedding plans, The Sun added.
"She turned her phone off and blocked out the rest of the world for the past week," the Sun's source said.
The New York Times has reported that Fernandez-Versini had a playboy reputation when he lived in New York in his 20s and took a year off "just to party".
The BBC said that the Frenchman is now said to run a pop-up restaurant business.
