The body of the Algerian singer Noura, who passed away Sunday in a hospital in Paris after a long-term illness, will be repatriated Wednesday to Algiers, her artistic entourage told APS in Paris (France).
“The body of the deceased will be taken by an Aigle Azur flight on 4th of June at 12:00 pm. It will arrive at Houari Boumediene airport in Algiers, early in the afternoon,” Farid Ouahmed, an artistic coordinator in the French capital said.
The following day, Thursday, the Algerian popular singer will be buried among her family and friends at Sidi Yahia cemetery (Algiers), to grant her last wish, added the same source.
An artistic evening was organized in March 2012 in Algiers, in honour of the artist who offered more than 500 songs in Arabic, Tamazight and French.
