Los Angeles police are investigating a fight between singer Chris Brown -- still on probation for beating girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 -- and rapper Frank Ocean. Ocean wants Brown -- who has apparently reunited with Rihanna in recent months -- to be prosecuted over the weekend altercation, reportedly over a parking place at a recording studio, according to the LA Times newspaper. \"It\'s a misdemeanor battery investigation. And it\'s ongoing so I can\'t say anything more,\" LA County Sheriff\'s spokesman Steve Whitmore told AFP when asked about the reported incident. The alleged fight happened Sunday night at a West Hollywood recording studio. Police responded to a report of six men fighting. Witnesses told them that Brown and Ocean were involved in a brawl over a parking spot. In comments to the LA Times, Whitmore said: \"Chris Brown is a named suspect in a battery report,\" adding, of Ocean: \"The victim is desirous of prosecution.\" Ocean, who has four nominations for next month\'s Grammys, later tweeted about the incident, saying: \"Got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol,\" adding: \"cut my finger now I can\'t play w two hands at the grammys.\" There was no immediate reaction from Brown, who was sentenced to five years probation, a year-long domestic violence program and 180 days of community service after assaulting Rihanna on the eve of the Grammys in 2009. A photo of Rihanna\'s bruised face triggered shock and anger at the singer. Although he remains on probation, Brown has been repeatedly praised by the judge in the case for complying with the terms of his sentence. The former couple were photographed being clearly intimate and affectionate with each other in public last month, at a an NBA basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks in Los Angeles. The Grammys, the music industry\'s biggest awards showcase, are on February 10.
