Iraqi forces, US-led airstrikes kill 45 Daesh militants in Anbar

Iraqi counterterrorism forces and US-led warplanes on Saturday killed 45 Daesh militants during a military operation to liberate various districts of Anbar province.
A senior officer of the Iraqi army was killed when an explosive device went off during the operation, an Iraqi military statement said.
Also, 40 explosive devices were safely detonated and 182 others were defused.
