At least three people were killed and ten others wounded on Sunday when a suicide bombing hit a police station in the north of the Syrian capital Damascus, the pro-government Sham FM radio reported. The state-media said the blast rocked behind a bakery shop in the district of Rukin Addien and spelled no further details. Rukin Addien has recently emerged as a troublesome area in northern Damascus with reports saying security forces raided it frequently in search of the wanted people. Separately, two people were killed on Sunday when three explosive devices ripped through the Bab Musalla area, the radio report said. The target of the second bombing was unknown but the area houses the Directorate of Criminal Security. The rebels in Syria have recently announced receiving \" qualitative\" weaponry from their western and regional backers. They said the new weapons would \"reshape the battle\" against the government troops.
