Syrian war jets dropped 24 barrel bombs and fire 27 rockets on the western districts of Aleppo where clashes are still going between the Syrian regime troops and opposition factions, Sky News reported.
The all-news network said the regime forces regained control of Gamiyat al Zahraa district which has been controlled by militant groups.
Syrian opposition factions controlled the areas of the scientific research center in Aleppo due to its strategic importance and its closeness to the areas controlled by the regime army.
