IMF : Economic growth in Middle East, North Africa to bounce back

Economic growth in the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan region(Mennaap) is projected to slow considerably in 2017, reflecting primarily a slowdown in activity in oil exporters, before recovering in 2018, unchanged from estimates issued in April, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said Monday.
The IMF said global gross domestic product would grow 3.5 percent in 2017 and 3.6 percent in 2018, unchanged from estimates issued in April.
The Fund also expected that developed economies would grow by 1.9 percent in the current year 2017 and in 2018.
The IMF also forecast that the Saudi economy will grow by 0.6 percent this year, picking up to 1.4 percent in 2018.
