His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has lauded the existing partnership between Bahrain and Egypt, stressing that the long-standing fraternal bilateral relations pave the way for strengthening and broadening such a partnership in order to cover more fields.
HRH Premier highlighted the two countries' interest in strengthening their political and economic relations and bolstering their cooperation in various fields, especially in light of the regional and global challenges that make cooperation a necessary strategic option to overcome them and to safeguard regional and global security and stability.
HRH the Prime Minister underscored the importance of the joint economic and trade events held between Bahrain and Egypt in promoting their investment opportunities and in broadening horizons of economic cooperation so as to go hand in hand with the growing bilateral relations.
This came as HRH the Prime Minister received at the Gudaibiya Palace today, several participants in the First joint Bahraini-Egyptian Expo, held under his patronage, led by Egypt's Tourism Minister, Mohamed Yehia Rashed and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Board Chairman, Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad.
HRH Premier underlined Bahrain's keenness on deepening relations with Egypt, and on bolstering joint economic and on broadening economic and investment cooperation with it, given the fact that the two brotherly countries share keenness to increase their economic openness.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the two countries share the desire to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation between them, adding that joint events will contribute to exploring the available economic opportunities, as well as ways of benefiting from them for each country.
The Prime Minister discussed with the Egyptian trade delegation ways to develop bilateral economic relations and encourage investments in the two countries, given the distinguished trade, economic and financial potentials they boast.
HRH Premier called on businessmen in the two countries to increase the volume of bilateral trade and take advantage of the available incentives to launch more joint projects
The Egyptian delegation, led by the Minister of Tourism, extended thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his interest in strengthening the economic and trade partnership between the two countries.
The delegation also commended the efforts of the government, led by HRH Premier, to ensure the success of the First Bahraini-Egyptian Expo, held under his patronage.
