Bahraini, Saudi leaders discuss regional challenges

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa stressed Bahrain’s standing by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against threats and interference challenges to protect development achievements and maintain security and stability in the region, during a meeting with Deputy King of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in Jeddah on Tuesday.
The leaders emphasised that Qatar needs to correct its political course, implement its previous commitments and comply with all demands presented to it for maintaining the Gulf countries' security and stability, including Qatar.
HRH Deputy King welcomed HM the king in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the solid relations bounding the two kingdoms and their people, Bahrain News Agency, BNA, reported. Course of historical bilateral relations was discussed, as well as cooperation for the benefit of joint interests and reinforcing the GCC march.
HM the king praised the Saudi leading role in promoting joint Gulf, Arab and Islamic action and preserving Arab interests and unity.
