THE Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali has affirmed that the ASPIRE4SPORT Congress and Exhibition in London 2017 has become one of the global stations in the field of sport-related business, as Qatar prepares to host the world’s largest sporting event, the 2022 World Cup.

Speaking on the sidelines of the inaugural ceremony of the ASPIRE4SPORT Congress and Exhibition in London, HE the Minister said: “He is proud of the great Qatari participation and this level of organization and attendance which reflects Qatar’s accumulated experience in the organizational field.”, referring to the remarkable participation of international sports stars and prominent figures in football and sports in general.

HE the Minister of Culture and Sports toured the exhibition various pavilions at the London Chelsea Club in Stamford Bridge and expressed his delight at the remarkable presence of Qatari institutions from both the public and private sectors.

He stressed the importance of such global events in highlighting the real face of the State of Qatar and the great development witnessed by the country in various aspects.

HE the Minister praised local and international participation , and said that the Congress and the Exhibition had become an annual global event with a national identity, stressing that the event injects added value to global sports.

HE the Minister attended a number of events held on the first day, the most important of which was the main session of the famous Italian coach A. Sacchi to the members of Aspire’s community around the world, a community of more than 80 football associations and clubs.

HE the Minister of Culture and Sports also praised the initiative launched by the Aspire Academy for the first time in Paris, France, in 2014 that aimed at exchanging the best experiences and information and the latest training methods among the various members.

He also expressed his appreciation for holding the second edition of the ASPIRE TECH conference, which has become a major role in the development of sports in terms of equipment and infrastructure, or in terms of sports science and data analysis and the use of science to develop sports performance . HE the Minister greeted the partners and stakeholders who have greatly supported this event
