ERC sends food convoys to Hadramaut

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has sent food aid convoys to Radfan of Mayfa'a District in the Governorate of Shabwa as part of its relief programme to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni people.
The district is one of the areas struck by the cholera epidemic.
Ahmed Al Neyadi, Deputy Head of the ERC team in Hadramaut, affirmed that the UAE relief agency would continue distribution of food assistance in the district as part of the UAE's efforts to fill the food gap caused by the economic hardship the governorate is experiencing.
"Special attention will be given to patients and needy people," he said.
Local officials thanked the ERC for reaching out to the underprivileged in liberated areas
