King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
Cairo - Emirates Voice

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa left here today, wrapping up a visit to Egypt, where he held talks with President Abel-Fattah el-Sisi on the brotherly Bahraini-Egyptian relations, as well as on the latest regional and global developments.
HM King Hamad was seen off by President el-Sisi, Interior Minister and Head of the royal Convoy of Honour, Mohammed Yahya Rashid, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, and staff of the Kingdom’s Embassy in Cairo.
While departing Cairo, HM the King sent a cable to the Egyptian President, in which he expressed thanks and appreciation to him for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to him throughout his stay.
“This reflects President el-Sisi’s honest fraternal feelings of which we are proud, and affirms the extent of the depth and strength of the robust fraternal relations between us and between our countries and brotherly peoples,” HM the King said, voicing keenness on pushing bilateral relations forward towards more progress and prosperity to better serve common interests.
HM King Hamad renewed appreciation of the historic and strategic role played by brotherly Egypt in championing vital and fateful Arab issues at all regional and global gatherings.
HM the King stressed that the Egyptian President’s accurate diagnosis of the current situation, and the requirements of the next phase, as well as his call for the need to adhere to joint pan-Arab action will have a deep impact in overcoming the dangers and challenges facing the Arab Nation.
They will also contribute to unifying stances so that Arab countries will be able to consolidate their interests, protect their institutions, preserve their potentials, prevent all forms of external interference in their domestic affairs, fulfill the aspirations of Arab peoples and contribute effectively to efforts to promote security and peace in the region and the world, HM the King said.
HM the King wished President el-Sisi abundant health and happiness, and brotherly Egypt and its people further progress and prosperity.
