Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, attended a reception this evening, held by the Embassy of China in the UAE at the InterContinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
During his meeting with Ni Jian, Ambassador of China to the UAE, he highlighted the depth of the strong ties of friendship that connect the UAE and the People’s Republic of China, and the need to strengthen their co-operation in all areas, especially in military and defence. He also highlighted the desire of the leadership of both countries to further develop their mutual relations.
The celebration was also attended by members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps in the country.
