Nahyan bin Mubarak hails Zayed Giving Convoy

 Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, has said that renaissance being witnessed by the UAE is mainly based on the legacy of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

He also reaffirmed that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, are following this march.

Sheikh Nahyan made his remarks while launching the Zayed Giving Convoy, which is organised by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, as part of its initiatives to the Year of Giving. More than 80 federal, local and private entities participated in the event.

He said that the new generation, through the Zayed Giving Convoy, will learn about the march of late Sheikh Zayed, the history of the country and his tremendous efforts to establish the pillars of development, unity and cohesion in the society.

The participating departments will organise more than 140 events through 90 pavilions, which include diversity of services for the population in Al Ain city and the surrounding areas.

A number of senior officials at the ministry attended the event.
