Bahrain Athletics Festival date announced

Bahrain Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Association said Bahrain Athletics Festival will kick off in December.
The announcement was made by the Association’s board of directors following its meeting on Saturday chaired by Deputy Chairman Sultan Al Ghanim.
The nationwide annual sports carnival slated to be held on December 7-9 will coincide with the people of Bahrain’s marking the Kingdom’s celebrations of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 46th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 18th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne.
Bahrain Athletic Festival includes bodybuilding, physique and Classic contests as the sole official competition in order to select the winners who qualified to join the National Team.
