The Government Forum 2017 will be held on Sunday under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
The event was announced at the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan hailed the importance of the upcoming forum which, he said, will usher in a new chapter in outstanding government practices and outlined achievements since the Government Forum 2016.
In a statement today, he described the Government Forum 2017 as a key platform to discuss means of boosting the contribution of the public sector in boosting comprehensive development and enhancing the Government’s readiness to deal with development requirements.
“The ultimate objective of the Government Action Plan (GAP) is to meet citizens’ needs and ensure them easy access to services in all fields”, he said.
