A Muslim Brotherhood bid to incite workers at the Public Transport Authority to stage a strike in Cairo has been foiled.
MB elements, who work at the authority, tried to recruit other employees to disrupt the traffic movement to pressure the authority chief to respond to their demands, a well-placed source said.
Security forces arrested the masterminds with anti-state leaflets in their possession, the source said.
The prosecution will keep them in custody for ten days for interrogation.
