Extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Arab League

The extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent representatives, chaired by Algeria (current President of the Council), and at the request of Palestine, began at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli occupation prisons.
The State of Qatar participated in the meeting with a delegation led by Qatar's Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, HE Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain.
The Council of the League will discuss a detailed report on the conditions of the Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in the prisons of the Israeli occupation authorities, which entered its third week.
