H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and President of Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Sunday hailed the unwavering support provided by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the humanitarian agency's operations.
He emphasised that the agency is entering a new stage of humanitarian action and generous giving and will face numerous humanitarian challenges that require development of plans and strategies and the upholding of humanitarian values.
Sheikh Hamdan was speaking while receiving a group of employees from the ERC.
He urged them to redouble the efforts to build a better future for humanitarian action and provide dignified life for all those sponsored by the agency.
The ERC will spare no efforts to achieve its philanthropic goals through the expansion of activities, he added.
A number of sheikhs and senior officials attended the meeting.
