Bahrain has strongly condemned the shooting in Masoura neighborhood, in Qatif in Saudi Arabia, resulting in the death of a resident and an infant and injury of others.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep condolences to the relatives of the two victims and its wishes of speedy recovery to the people who were injured in this cowardly terrorist act, aimed to terrify the innocent people and undermine security.
"The ministry hails the great efforts exerted by the security authorities in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reinforce peace and security and to ensure the safety of citizens and residents on its territories, affirming the failure of such evil terrorist acts to undermine the Kingdom’s capabilities or hamper its ongoing development efforts," the ministry said.
The ministry affirmed that it stands fully with Saudi Arabia in confronting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
