Bahrain condemns terrorist bombings in Iraq

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the terrorist bombings that targeted several areas of the Republic of Iraq, resulting in the death and injury of many people.
“The Ministry affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the brotherly Republic of Iraq in its fight against terrorism and its efforts to combat and eradicate all terrorist organizations,” a statement by the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to all those injured as a result of these cowardly acts of terrorism.
“The Ministry reiterates the firm position of the Kingdom of Bahrain against violence, extremism and terrorism in all its forms, whatever its motives and justifications, urging the international community to unite in confronting terrorism and to strengthen cooperation among various countries of the world in order to ensure the eradication of this scourge that threatens international peace and security,” the statement also said.
