he must prove whether he is a mouse or a man

Jihad al-Khazen
If Barack Obama wins the presidential election two months from now, then he must take revenge on his opponents, the supporters of Israel and the enemies of humanity, to prove that he is a man, and not a mouse. Obama knows their many evils more than I do, and I am here only talking about them for the benefit of the Arab readers. They cite 689 reasons to defeat Barack Obama in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. These begin with the fact that he was not the one we were waiting for. The 16th reason is that he blamed George W. Bush for ruining the U.S. economy. The 63rd is so that people can criticize the president again without being accused of racism. The 113rd reason is that Obama had introduced healthcare for the poor. Then at 184, they cite the fact that Obama has blamed deficits on Bush tax cuts for the rich, at 373 that he bowed before the King of Saudi Arabia, at 411 that humiliated Benjamin Netanyahu and at 418, that he abandoned Iraq. Their 419th reason for defeating Obama was that he had specified a deadline for withdrawing from Afghanistan, and then their 428th reason was that he used Israel’s pre-1967 borders as a starting point for the negotiations, while their 435th reason was his Cairo speech. The above is a 28-page sample of the massive campaign waged by Israel’s supporters in the United State against Obama, to preclude him from winning a second term. I chose known neoconservative sources, who are Jewish American Likudniks, to monitor their stances. In the end, I settled for three of the magazines affiliated with them, which are: Commentary, the National Review and the Weekly Standard, in addition to the website FrontPage. The common trait among all these is loyalty to Israel at the expense of American interests, blatant lying, and blaming Obama for the financial crisis and the military defeats that were actually caused by them under the Bush administration. In a single day, during the Democratic National Convention, I found that the National Review had published 31 pieces on its website attacking Obama. There were about 30 pieces in the other websites, which contained such a huge volume of lies that I could not go over it alone, and had to seek the help of colleagues and Al-Hayat’s archives. Thus, I willingly chose to make my life miserable during the weekend, by writing about this. The gang of evil, including all of its members, attacked Obama’s stance on Israel, after the clause that said that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel was withdrawn from the Democratic Party platform, before it was reinstated. I thus read headlines such as Obama's War on Jewish Jerusalem; New Democratic Party Platform Betrays Israel; and Does DNC Platform Indicate Policy Shift on “Right of Return”? There was a separate artcle about Israel’s chances with the two main parties, which concluded that the Republican candidates Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan would be loyal allies to Israel, unlike Obama, who used to listen to Palestinian thinker Edward Said and Dr. Rashid Khalidi (There are hundreds of Jews in the Obama administration itself, compared to these two Palestinians). There were also articles with titles such as, The Better Off Question, and also The Question No One Wants to Answer. The question involved is whether the Americans are better off under Obama than under Bush. The gang says no, but forgets to mention that it was George W. Bush who precipitated the American and then global financial crisis, and that the Republican-dominated House after the midterm elections in 2010 has opposed every proposal by the Obama administration to mend the economy – instead choosing to prolong the problems so that Obama can be blamed, as we see in these false articles on the subject. There were many articles defending Romney or expecting him to succeed n solving American’s problems, without including one convincing argument as to how he will achieve this. Since Romney – the multimillionaire – pays less tax than his staffers, who range from being working to medium income class, the gang bent over sideways to justify this, as was the case in the article entitled Romney’s Taxes and the Liberal Mindset. Other articles talked about his success as a businessman, and his expected success in foreign policy. But what they mean is that he has pledged to support Israel in a war against Iran, and abide by the Israeli position in the peace process with the Palestinians. Other editorial titles included: - Dems See Women as Objects, Not Voters - Can Obamamania be revived? - Myths and Facts About Talking to Terrorists. In this piece, they project Israel’s terrorism, fascism, racism and neo-Nazism unto freedom fighters. - Did Ambassador Say Republicans Are “Dangerous” for Israel? The ambassador here is the Israeli ambassador Michael Oren. I can never believe anything Oren says, even if he was merely saying hello. I say that Israel is dangerous to American interests and world peace. I also say about Barack Obama specifically, that he must prove whether he is a mouse or a man. Obama knows the stance taken by the gang against him, and he should therefore, if he wins, seek revenge against them to protect the American people and safeguard his political legacy. --- The views expressed by the author do not necessarily represent or reflect the editorial policy of Arabstoday.
