King Hamad receives education charity fund board

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Sakhir Palace newly-formed Isa bin Salman Education Charity Fund board of trustees\' chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. Deputy Premier and Education and Training Development Committee Chief Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa attended the meeting, along with Education Minister and fund deputy chairman Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi and board members. HM King Hamad congratulated them all on their appointment as board members, stressing the crucial role of the charity foundation in extending a lifeline for students to pursue their university and postgraduate studies. Students with special needs will also benefit from the charity fund as part of efforts to give Bahraini youth the opportunity to continue their academic studies. HM King Hamad stressed Bahrain\'s keenness on promoting human resources in various disciplines in order to achieve comprehensive development goals. He described Isa bin Salman Educational and Charity Fund as in line with Bahrain\'s religious and traditional values of social solidarity.
