Abu Dhabi - WAM

Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD), has signed a joint cooperation agreement with Emarat Global Resourcing in alignment with the fundamental goals and objectives of both institutions. The agreement aims to promote cooperation between the two parties on training and building the capacities of administrators and staff to groom them for professional positions. It also serves to provide training and development solutions to reinforce national resources operating in the U.A.E.. The agreement was signed by Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Eric Fouache, and the CEO of Emarat Global Resourcing, Jamal Awadh CEO, in a ceremony attended by a number of distinguished guests from both institutions. The signatories agreed to set solid foundations for joint action and coordination in all areas that cater to the needs of graduates and the job market, in addition to cooperating to support research and training and promote PSUAD's programs, specialisations, and global standing. Emarat Global Resourcing also committed to conducting job market studies to identify those training programmes most in demand. PSUAD Vice-Chancellor Eric Fouache, said, "One of our top priorities is to train qualified national cadres who meet job market demands. We are constantly striving to raise education to higher levels and to cater to labour market needs and demands by developing the performance and skills of graduates and staff through private- and public-sector training." Prof. Fouache noted that the agreement reflects the successful cooperation and coordination achieved by the university with the local community. "We have both agreed to cooperate and coordinate our efforts to develop appropriate programmes for corporate training in the private and public sectors and for on-the-job evaluation. We hope to promote the university's academic and training programmes which respond to the demands of the global job market," he added. Prof. Fouahce affirmed that by signing the agreement, PSUAD seeks to support professional performance through its programmes. Indeed, trainees will have access to all locally and globally recognised training programmes offered at the university. The agreement also provides PSUAD students with numerous training opportunities at ministries and relevant agencies. Dr. Fatima Al Shamsi, PSUAD Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administrative Affairs, said, "The cooperation agreement is testimony to PSUAD's conviction that strong partnerships with the community help strengthen expertise and skills in the job market and provide an opportunity for partners to harness the full potential of their staff." She noted that as a national leader in engaging with the community and local sectors, PSUAD strives to uphold its commitment to building marketable skills and investing in the development of professionals by strengthening their capacities, advancing their potentials, and offering quality theoretical and practical training, seminars, and praxis to hone the skills of participants. Dr. Al Shamsi observed that the agreement will serve to reinforce PSUAD's role by focusing on developing the theoretical and practical skills of trainees and offering the required training in an actual work environment to facilitate the growth and development of their designated sectors. Dr. Al Shamsi underscored the importance of cooperation and the exchange of experience and knowledge between PSUAD and leading companies and institutions. "In fact, PSUAD is keen to offer access to its diverse educational and academic programmes and specialisations. PSUAD provides corporations with training programmes tailored to their occupational strategies, in addition to organising training sessions and programmes for such institutions to develop their resources and work mechanisms." CEO of Emarat Global Resourcing Abu Dhabi, Jamal Awadh, said, "I'm proud to introduce our service to Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi through our various activities such as the employee training programme, and a dedicated headhunting process with the freshly graduated Sorbonne students. "I'm convinced that this partnership will be an example and a great path to the future for Emirati employees and will excel the economic performances of major companies based in the U.A.E. through Paris-Sorbonne Quality Education Programmes."
