
The price of Kuwaiti crude oil dropped five cents and traded for USD 105.59 per barrel (pb) on Wednesday, compared to previous price of USD 105.64 the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation on Thursday. The international oil market was under the tug of data showing that US crude stockpiles were up by three million barrels, which is the highest for this time of year since records were started in 1982. In London, BRENT crude came down 43 cents, which is a drop of 0.39 percent, to sell for USD 111.31 pb. Meanwhile in New York, US light crude also slipped USD 1.38 pb which is a fall of 1.47 percent to sell for USD 92.3 pb.
