Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Thursday that the price of Kuwaiti oil barrel went down by USD 1.23 reaching USD 100.37 per barrel on Wednesday, compared to USD 101.60 pb on Tuesday. International oil markets have seen a drop in oil prices, despite the low reserves of crude oil in the USA, the world's largest energy consuming country, according to the US Department of Energy, KUNA reported. Reports showed yesterday that the reserves dropped by 2.4 million barrel, despite expectations of reaching a surplus of 1.3 million barrel, whereas reserves will reach 380.1 million barrel.
