Oil ministry implementing 4000 projects

But Oil Minister Rostam Qassemi told Shana that these projects are not necessarily oil industry projects. He went on to say that the Oil ministry had completed public projects which were assigned to Oil ministry in many provinces including Khorassan Razavi province during the first and second round of President Ahmadinejad\'s provincial tours. He also expressed satisfaction with the progress made in the implementation of these projects. According to Qassemi, the cabinet held a meeting in Mashhad, the capital of Khorassan Razavi province, earlier this week to study implementation of these projects in the province. He said the ministry is handling 4,000 public projects across the country, adding that estimated value of the projects stands at 53,868 trillion rials (approximately $4 trillion). \"42 road and urban development projects are going on with 23.852 billion rials investment by the Oil ministry plus 22 environmental projects with a cost of 12.6 billion rials,\" Qassemi noted.
